
I have these moments when I get quiet and notice where I am, physically but also emotionally, environmentally, spiritually and mentally. I’m sure I forgot something, but you get that idea.
Maybe I’ll rehash an unhappy or wonderful experience or reflect on something I just learned. And then I feel myself in the present. How has this experience or knowledge affected me? What have I learned about myself?
Reflection is one of the bravest tools we have when it comes to becoming a better version of ourselves. We are always changing, either by choice or by challenge. Resisting change is often futile and, even more often, a waste of energy.
