Have you ever wanted something to happen only to get the opposite result? For example, wanting a new job only to find out you have just been let go of your current job while you are wishing for it?
That happened to me recently. I want to move within the next few years and know that I will have to leave pretty much everything when I do, so I have been focusing on what I want, right? Well, as I am working on the images of what I want, I get an email from one of the schools where I teach that they won’t be needing me in the fall. And so it begins….
Remember that what you want to create starts with your vision of it. Add emotion and the senses and you can step into the image whenever you want.
I wasn’t expecting to not be in control of the “how”, yet losing that job felt like I lost control. But I didn’t. I was given a gift of time and space. With the subtraction of this job, I now can focus even more on where I am going.
It’s not our job to figure out how. If you are a spiritual person, tap into the energy of meditation or prayer. If you are not, create a vision board or mind movie and use it as a tool to connect you to your next WHY. Or do both!
I know it’s a broken record for those of you who are students of energy work, but what you focus on, you will create.
Be careful what you wish for. Know that things will happen that must happen in order for you to move to the next level or the next phase. It may be unexpected or expected. Say “thank you” either way.
Someday, you will look back and be absolutely amazed by the ability you have to manifest everything you have, do and are. The phone call out of the blue, the “aha” moment that motivates you forward, the nudge to enter a building you’ve never been to, the chance encounter with your new client or partner, the money that is there exactly when you need it, the wrong turn off the highway that introduces you to your new favorite park, and even the space created from a lay off.
Breathe, let go of “how”, create your “why”.
